Zona Anderson

Zona Anderson, 74, of Pequot Lakes, MN died Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, MN. Private family services will be held for Zona.

Zona was born December 16, 1941 to Ben and Isabell Burnette in Bluefield, West Virginia, where she was raised and went to school. She moved to Bertha, MN in 1962, and then lived in Brooklyn Center and Anoka where she worked at the Salvation Army as a cashier; and also as a PCA. Zona moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area eight years ago; and then to Heritage House in Pequot Lakes a year ago. She loved watching her game shows on TV and eating chocolate.

Zona is survived by her children, Debbie (Ron) McCarthy of Circle Pines, MN, Jodi Ash of Brainerd, MN, Mike Lowers of St. Francis, MN; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Anthony Burnette and Mary Sue Seaver, both of South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Isabell Burnette; and son, Charles Lowers. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
