Wilma Foster Brouillet, 84, of Crosby, died Friday, March 16, 2012 at Heartwood Arbor Apartments in Crosby. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Rev Barb Christenson officiating. The relatives will receive friends after 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. A reception will be held in Brenny's Reception Room following services. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
Wilma was born on August 19, 1927 in Murray County, Minnesota, daughter of the late; Frank and Agnes (Graf) Foster. She attended school in Slayton then graduated from Pine River High School. She was united in marriage to; Cletus Brouillet on June 6, 1946 in Slayton. They lived in Slayton and St. Cloud, they then retired to Island Lake in Ponto Township near Pine River before moving to Baxter and then to Crosby. She enjoyed being a drum majorette in high school, working in her flower garden, the outdoors and nature, crossword puzzles, but most importantly her family.
Wilma is survived by daughter; Carol Brouillet of Brainerd; two sons, Tom (Sandy) Brouillet and Larry Brouillet, both of St Cloud; daughter in law; Beverly Brouillet; two sisters; Dorothy Bergman and Frances Scott, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cletus; son, Bob; and an infant daughter, Candice. Memorials are preferred.
