William "Augie" August Worcester, Age 65 of Blind Lake Township passed away peacefully after a long fight with Alzheimer. Bill "Augie" was born in Brainerd, MN. "Augie" lived in the Blind Lake and Pine River area for most of his life.
His greatest loves were his family, hunting, ice fishing and helping others. Augie spent most of his working life logging and cutting firewood. He loved working with his hands and tinkering with small engines. There wasn't a carburetor he could not fix.
Bill "Augie" is survived by Cheryl LaQuier (spouse), daughter, Christina Linn (Marion); son, Michael Cox (Jacki); siblings: Donald Worcester (Violet), Susan Wilson, David Worcester (Anja), Joe Worcester (Tammy), Darlene Hiltbrunner (Curt); Sisters-in-law: Kathy Worcester, Ellen Worcester, Michelle (Shelly) Worcester and Barb Worcester; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill "Augie" was preceded in death by Clayton W. Worcester (Father), Betty J. (Bleisner) Worcester (Mother), Larry C. Worcester (Brother), Sally Kay Worcester (infant sister), Daniel E. Worcester (Brother) and Jay F Worcester Sr. (Brother).
Bill "Augie" Worcester will be remembered and loved by many.
There will be a time to gather and remember Bill on Wednesday, April 13, from 2 to 4 PM at the American Legion, Pine River. Arrangements with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
