William Schackman

William Schackman, age 73, of Pillager died Monday, August 18, 2008 at St. Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd. Memorial services will be10:30 AM, Friday, August 22 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, with luncheon following at Brennys Reception Room. Friends are welcome to gather the hour prior to services. Interment will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls.
Bill is survived by Carole, his loving wife of 49 years; his children, Phillip (Kathleen) Schackman, of Hastings, and Cindy (Benny Fernandez) Schackman, of Bemidji; grandchildren Kallan and Kylie Stedje, of Bemidji, and Erin Ploog, of Blaine; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his half-siblings, Jim Schackman, Earl Schackman, and Esther Baker.
