William Olson

William C. "Bill" Olson, 69, of Brainerd, MN died on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. Funeral Services for Bill will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 1:00PM at Oak Street Chapel in Brainerd, MN with Pastor Todd Wooden officiating. Visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd, MN.

Bill was born on November 18, 1943 in Brainerd, MN to Eugene and Genevieve (Potter) Olson. He graduated from Brainerd High School. Bill married Carol Brusseau on October 26, 1963 in Brainerd, MN. He graduated from Bemidji State University and worked as a chemical dependency counselor until his retirement. Bill enjoyed his friends at the Barn. In Bills' younger years he liked hunting, camping, fishing, and stock car racing. He enjoyed driving his corvettes. Bill loved spending time with his family and granddaughters.

Bill is survived by his wife, Carol; mother, Genevieve Olson of Brainerd, MN; children, Rob Olson of Lafayette, IN and Susan Gebhard of Brainerd, MN; sisters, Kathy Lunderby of Buffalo, MN, and Karylanne Marchand of St. Michael, MN; and grandchildren, Allison Gebhard and Avery Gebhard. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene; brothers, Kris and Jim Olson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
