William “Bill” Kramer, age 97, of Hackensack, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Parmly on the Lake in Chisago City, MN. He was born to Jerry and Amelia Kramer on June 5, 1920, in Akeley, MN. Bill was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army Air Corps. He owned and operated a Texaco station in Hackensack for many years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and American Legion Post 202 in Hackensack.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Terrie Gunderson (Keith); granddaughters: Heather Gunderson, Shana Bush (James), Melissa Palmer (Matthew); great grandchildren: Keith Bush, Clayton Palmer and Sawyer Palmer. He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Ardene and Valarie; son, Joseph Kramer; brothers, Frank and Ken; and sister, Marie Miller.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 PM on Friday, June 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hackensack. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Hackensack. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
