William “Bill” Korman, Jr., age 88, of Outing, MN, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021, after a battle with cancer. He was married to his sweetheart for 57 years and raised two children in Brooklyn Center. Bill retired from NSP and then moved up north to Outing. He spent his last year at Golden Horizons in Crosslake, MN. Thanks for the wonderful care and love he received from the staff there. During that last year he was able to go ice fishing, summer fishing, duck hunting, deer hunting and finished many woodworking projects. Everyone that knew him will miss his wit, stories, and most of all, his caring and love.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Marlys; father, William Korman, Sr.; mother, Marie Korman; and brother-in-law, Gary Rohweder. He is survived by sister, Karen Rohweder; son, Kent (Carla); daughter, Kim O’Shaughnessy (Kevin); and his grandchildren - who were his pride and joy: Tyler, Lindsey (Casie) and Andy.
Memorials are preferred to Faith Lutheran Church, Pine River, or the donor’s choice.
Private family services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, February 27. Service will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/OSLCOuting/ . Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery, Crystal, MN.
