William Kerwin

William H. Kerwin, 82, of Onamia, passed away September 29, 2013 at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Silver Bay, MN. Interment with Military Honors will be held at 11 AM, Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley. A gathering will be held at the Onamia VFW from 2-6 PM following the graveside services on Friday.

William is survived by his wife, Genevieve; sons, Bill (Terri) Kerwin, of Onamia, Jeff (Gail) Kerwin, of Omaha, NE; daughters, Sheryl (Shawn) Pederson, of Milaca, Debby (Joel) Anderson, of Mora; grandchildren, Brett, Sara, Tyson, Jon, Aspen, Codee, Jessica, Randy, Brendan, and Cameron; sister, Marg; and brothers, Dennis, Joe, and Bob. He was preceded in death by his mom, Bridget; father, William; sister-in-law, Jan; brother-in-law, Lorence. Also survived by former wife, Dona Kerwin, of Rawlins, WY.

William was born July 27, 1931, in Kennebec, SD to Bridget and William Kerwin. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years; he was in the Korean War. William touched many lives in 82 years and will be deeply missed.
