William Dunn

William F. Dunn, 82, of Pequot Lakes, formerly of Tenstrike, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011, at his home. He was born in Tenstrike on January 2, 1929, to Paul and Lillian Dunn. He married Goldie Bliss on September 4, 1954. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for 45 years, retiring in 1990.

William is survived by his wife of 56 years, Goldie; children: Renee Dunn of Tenstrike, Brian Dunn (Mary Beth) of Elk River, Nancy Sexton (Gary) of Backus; sister, Judy Skerik (Jim) of Pinewood; brother, Alfred Dunn (Violet) of Longview, WA; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Noreen and Rheba; and brothers, Paul Jr., James and John.

Services will be 2 PM on Friday, March 18, at the Tenstrike Community Church. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Dunn, Michael Sexton, Timothy Sexton, Shawn Knutson, Rob Kemptner, Jason Cluff and Daniel Sexton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
