William Duckers

William George Duckers, age 81, of St. Cloud, Minnesota, formerly of Brainerd, Minnesota, died Wednesday, January 10, 2001 at the VA Medical Center in St Cloud, Minnesota. Graveside services will take place at a later date. Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. William George Duckers was born on October 1, 1919 in Brooklyn, NY son of George and Marie (Kasper) Duckers. He attended school in New Jersey. He entered the United States Marines and served during World War 11. Following his honorable discharge he worked for the railroad and had a lawn care business. In 1953 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Sheridan in Jersey City, NJ. He then worked for Ingersoll Rand and also was an auctioneer. He moved to Brainerd in 1975. William enjoyed antiques and refinishing furniture. William is survived by his daughter, Valerie Rogers of New York Mills, 2 brothers Henry and George Duckers both of NJ.
