Wesley Richmond

Wesley A. Richmond, 56, of Cushing died on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Essentia Health/St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd surrounded by his family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral Services for Wes will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cushing. Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples.

Wesley was born on August 3, 1955 in Brainerd to Burt and Ruth (Van Vickle) Richmond. He grew up in Pillager. He loved hunting, golfing, fishing, motorcycling and playing cards. He was united in marriage to Wendy Dahlberg, January 8, 1993 in Motley, MN. He was self-employed as a Handyman/Carpenter.

Wes is survived by his wife Wendy; daughter, Melissa; two sons, Shawn and Hunter; mother Ruth Richmond of Pillager; three sisters, Arlys Marshall of Pillager, Vivian (Butch) Rosekrans of Fort Ripley and Gloria Rosekrans of Brainerd; five brothers, Herb (Jo) of Pillager, Darryl (Carol) of Ramsey, Ken of Pillager, Walter (Cheryl) of Pillager, Ed (Sandy) of Fort Ripley, many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Burt and one sister Anice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples.
