Wesley R. Kropuenske, 71, passed away at Amazing Love Elderly Care in Randall on May 20, 2022, surrounded by his family. A private burial will be held at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.
Wesley was born in Yankton, South Dakota on April 30, 1951, to Leonard and Elaine (Terrell) Kropuenske. He was proud to be a veteran and retired from the US Army and National Guard.
Wesley was a musician at heart. He loved playing his guitar for his family and friends. He enjoyed classic country music. With his spare time, he loved to go fishing and spending time in his flower garden.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Suzy; mother, Elaine Kleinschmidt of Brainerd; daughters, Angela Sibley of WA, Sheri Bitter (Keith) of KY, and Tonya Gervacio (Roland) of WA; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Beverly Meyer (Ed), Nancy Thoene, Kimberly Aspholm (Robert), Theresa Fredricks, Teri Ann Qualls; stepmom, Mary Schwegel; stepbrother, Curt Kleinschmidt (Lori); stepsister Becky Sander (Ron); many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, Leonard; stepfather, Allan Kleinschmidt; brother, Dennis; stepbrother, Bruce Kleinschmidt; grandparents, John and Mary Terrell, Otto and Ella Kropuenske; and niece Elizabeth Thoene.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
