Wesley Edward Albert (Kruger), 43, of Brainerd, MN, was released into the hands of Jesus on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Essentia Health - St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Wes was born July 28, 1970 and grew up in Maple Grove, MN and recently had moved to the Brainerd area.
Wes loved anything fast. Fast cars, fast boats, fast snowmobiles, fast motorcycles. Maybe he knew he needed to squeeze in every moment of the years he had. His winning smiles and personality won friends all along his way. By now he has met his Guardian Angel who watched over him for the past 43 years, and His Savior who called him by name into his Kingdom.
Wes was preceded in death by his father, Edward Emil Albert.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Pam and Dick Kruger; sister, Lisa (Steve) Barden; brothers, Mitch (Christine) Kruger, Christopher Kruger, Jim (Jackie) Kruger, and their families; grandmother, Esther Albert; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as his dear friend, Wendy Pearson who cared so much for him over the past year.
A memorial service is planned for 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 12 at Emmaus Lutheran Church (1074 Idaho Ave. W, St. Paul, MN 55117, 651.489.9426). Wesley's care has been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Pequot Lakes and is interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in St. Anthony, MN.
