Wendy Lou Davis, 40, of Baxter, passed away following an ATV Accident on Friday, October 13, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 19, 2017 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather Wednesday evening from 4-8 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter and one hour prior to services on Thursday. Interment will take place at Baxter City Cemetery.
Wendy was born October 26, 1976, in St. Cloud, MN, the daughter of James and Dolores (Bauer) Bautch. The family moved to Brainerd and Wendy attended school in Baxter and graduated from Brainerd High School in 1996. She continued her education and received her AA Degree from Central Lakes College. In 1999, she married Lance Davis. Wendy operated a home daycare center for 14 years before making a career change in 2014. She worked in sales for Johnson Brothers out of St. Paul for the last three years.
Wendy loved rock-n-roll and attended as many concerts as she could. She also enjoyed the outdoors – especially, riding motorcycles. She liked to bowl and shoot darts. Most of all, Wendy loved her family and friends. She cherished the time she was able to spend with them.
She is survived by her husband, Lance; children, Paige and Evelyn Davis; step-children, Lacey and Cole Davis; granddaughter, Sierra; dad, Jim Bautch; siblings, Lori (Mike) Diederichs, of St. Cloud, Kathy (LeRoy) Ailts, of Pillager, Sheri (Scott) Zemke, of Hugo, Jay (Callie) Bautch, of Brainerd, and Tim (Ashly Erickson) Bautch, of Brainerd; 17 nieces and nephews; and five great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mom, Dolores and sister, Barbie Bautch.
