Wayne Meyer

Wayne Marvin Meyer, 66, of Baxter, MN passed away on May 24, 2024, in Brainerd. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Tuesday June 4, 2024, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. 

Wayne was born in Brainerd, MN on March 18, 1958, to Marvin and Violet (Hughes) Meyer. He married the love of his life Nancy on June 17, 1995, and they were together for 37 years. 

Wayne worked for Gendron Landscaping for nearly 20 years, and then he started Trident Sea Foods in Motley. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed working on anything he could to try and make it work again, even if duct tape was involved. He loved gardening and taking care of all the flowers with Nancy. He loved to sit and watch things grow. He loved spending time with the grandkids and seeing what they would fix or break next. Wayne was the guy to call if you ever needed something fixed. He would be there in a second to lend a hand. 

Wayne is survived be his children Joellen (Wes) Hines of Nisswa, Gary Kinville of Sartell, and his grandsons Dylan Hines and Riley Hines of Nisswa, his mother Violet Meyer, sisters Wanda Savig (Dave), Margie Thesing (Curt), Rose Hines (Herman Jr.), Sharon Carr, Lisa Weiss (Brian), and Debbie Meyer (Adam Daley), his brother Roger Meyer (Brenda), and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy and his father Marvin Meyer. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
