Wayne Hendricks

Wayne R. Hendricks, 56, of Fort Ripley died on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at his home. Visitation for Wayne will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with a prayer service at 7:00 PM and one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nazarene in Brainerd with Rev. Barbara Christenson officiating.

Wayne was born on November 27, 1954 in Beardsley, MN to Lawrence and Lucille (Reddy) Hendricks. He worked as a machinist and a package deliveryman for Fed Ex. Wayne also owned and operated a gas station/restaurant. Wayne loved driving horses and horseback riding. He also enjoyed camping and working with leather.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Sankay; children, Damien (Nichole) Hendricks, Clifford Hendricks, and Travis Carter; brothers and sisters, Ronald (Violet) Hendricks, Robert (Marilyn) Hendricks, John (Sharon) Hendricks, Betty Smith, Larry (Kay) Hendricks, Jeanie (Ron) Miller, Dee Herzog, Dennis Hendricks, Steve (Kris) Hendricks, Elaine (Steve) Johnson, JoAnne (Bruce) Daniels, and Carole (Tom) Wagner; mother, Lucille Margaret (Reddy) Hendricks; in laws, Duane and Myrna Bohlman, Richard Bohlman, and Alan (Amy) Bohlman; several nieces and nephews, pets and friends of Brainerd and Bemidji areas. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence; brother-in-law, Milo Smith; and one brother, David Hendricks.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
