Wayne Dagen

Wayne Joseph Dagen, 66, of International Falls, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Sanford Health in Bemidji. Celebration of life will be on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Brenny Funeral Chapel, Staples. Interment to follow at 12:30 PM at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.

Wayne was born July 12, 1946 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota to Merille and Frances (Young) Dagen. His early years he lived in Morton, Onamia, Mahtomedi and St. Paul. On April 9,1971 he married Nancy Higgins of Staples, MN. They made their home for the most part in International Falls, MN. Wayne enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by son, Michael Dagen of Virginia, MN; daughter, Melissa (Max) Gullette of Blackduck, MN; granddaughters, Kaydre, Rayni and Farah; sisters, Wilma Nyberg of Isanti, MN and Marjorie Altman of Eidson, TN. He is preceded in death by wife Nancy, parents, and sister Sharon Kislenger.
