Warren Peterson

Warren Peterson, 95, passed peacefully December 10, 2015 in Waconia, MN. Warren was born August 19, 1920 in Swanburg Township, MN. Preceded in death by parents Oscar and Grace, siblings Raymond, Elva, Glorine, Virginia, Kenneth, Carol, Calvin and Dale, wives Marie, Hazel, Pearl and Beulah, sons Larry (Ruud) and Gene, grandson Charles (Ruud). Survived by daughters Joan Lash and Jan (Dick) Lash, daughters-in-law Kay Turvey and Beth Peterson, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Proud WWII vet served in Germany. Raised his family in South Minneapolis. Retired from Minnegasco in 1982 and enjoyed many happy retirement years in the Crosslake area. Many thanks to the U.S. Dept of Veteran Affairs for their support and to the caring staff at Westview Acres Assisted Living, Good Samaritan and Ridgeview Home Care and Hospice in Waconia over the past three years. Funeral service at Brenny Funeral Home in Crosslake on Saturday, December 19 at 2:00, with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment with Military Honors in Swanburg Cemetery.
