Warren Nelson

Warren H. Nelson, age 87, of Pequot Lakes, died November 20, 2008 at St. Josephs Medical Center. Services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be from 3 -4 p.m. at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes on Sunday. Services have been entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes.
Warren was born March 14, 1921 in Minneapolis, son of George E. and Emily (Denker) Nelson. On March 24, 1948 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth BettyLarson in East Grand Forks. He entered the United States Army and served during World War II and Vietnam. Following his honorable discharge he worked in electronic calibration. In 1999 they moved to Ideal Township where he has been a resident until his death. He enjoyed playing Bridge, fishing, golfing and reading.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Karen (Robert) Tonti of Ft. Worth, TX, Aleta (David) Mayrose of Keller, TX; one son, Lloyd Nelson of El Paso, TX; one sisterAnna K.
