Wanita Frazer

Wanita Frazer, 92, of Walker died on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Golden Living Health Care Center in Walker. Visitation will be Friday, October 29, 2010 from 5-7 at Salem Lutheran Church in Longville. Services for Wanita will be Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 11:00AM at Salem Lutheran Church in Longville, MN. Interment will be at Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Wanita was born in Harmony, Minnesota on May 18, 1918 to Harry and Rena (Bremmer) Wahl. She married Merle Frazer on October 16, 1938 in Big Spring Lutheran Church near Harmony. Wanita and Merle farmed in the area until 1955, when they then moved to Northern MN. They farmed near Federal Dam and Bay River until 1967, when they moved to Longville. Wanita was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Longville where she was very active in Ladies Aid. She also worked as a custodian at the Longville School. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, embroidering, and crocheting. Wanita was an avid reader and she loved working on puzzle books.

Wanita is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Rena; husband, Merle Frazer; brother, Marlin Wahl; half-sister; Arlone; and an infant daughter. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Pequot Lakes.
