Wanda Johnston, age 50, of Brainerd, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011, at her home. She was born October 8, 1960, in Brainerd, to Ernest and Rosetta Collins.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Peter; children: Charity Thurow, Susan Johnston, Kenny Johnston; parents, Ernest "Buck" and Rose Collins; brothers: Brad Collins, Brian Collins; grandchildren: Morgan Johnston, Zeffen Thurow and Zetta Thurow.

Services will be 1 PM on Thursday, May 12, at Whitefish Community Church, rural Pine River. Gathering time will be one hour prior to the service.
