Wade Reynolds

Wade Reynolds, age 34, of Pequot Lakes, went to be with his friend, Jesus, on Monday, December 16, 2013, after a battle with cancer. Wade fought his illness with the same tenacity, humor and grace that he lived his life. He was born to Bruce and Susan Reynolds on December 7, 1979, in Coon Rapids. Wade married Melissa Gage on February 3, 2001, at the Church of the Nazarene in Brainerd. He worked at Hengel Ready Mix and Construction in Pillager for over ten years and most recently with the Cass County Highway Department. He was very active at the Church of the Nazarene, enjoyed sports, but most important to him was his family. Wade was known for his integrity, humbleness, sly humor and was "bigntender".

Wade is survived by his wife, Melissa; children: Ashlynn, Myca, Amelia; mother, Susan Reynolds of Merrifield; brothers: Casey (Kim) Reynolds and their children, Sye and Boyd, of Pequot Lakes, Brock (Kati) Reynolds of Crosby; sister, LeeAnn Reynolds and her children, Debbie, Brandi and Andrew, of Brainerd; brother-in-law, Kyle Gage, of Minneapolis; father and mother-in-law, Tony and Kathy Gage, of East Gull Lake.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce; grandparents, Lue and Grace Reynolds, and William and Frances Braunschweig.

Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, December 21, at Brainerd Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the Brainerd Church of the Nazarene, and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
