Virginia Wippler, 80, formerly from Randall, passed away Friday, June 6, 2014 at The Highland Senior Living Apartments in Little Falls. There will be a private family service at St. James Cemetery in Randall MN.
Virginia Mary Wippler was born to Joseph and Anna (Vnuk) Stavish on November 5th 1933, in Little Falls.
She was united in marriage to Louis Wippler on November 12th, 1951 in Flensburg MN. They had 10 children and 33 years of marriage, until his death in 1984.
Virginia sewed at Munsingwear and waitressed and cooked at Louie's Place, Tri-Angle Cafe, Randall Cafe and Westside Cafe.
She was a member of the Randall VFW Auxiliary and St. James Catholic Church in Randall.
Baked goods and Sunday's Fried Chicken was her most memorable among her family's favorites. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, the casino and traveling.
Virginia is survived by Her Beloved Stanley (Shorty) Holtslander and children:
Mary Lou (Roland) Mammenga of Randall, Joe (Kathy) Wippler of Randall
Peter (Debbie) Wippler of Randall, Mark Wippler of Browerville
Ann Marie (Bruce) Sharon of Stillwater, Jane Kunkel of Little Falls,
Bonnie (Jeff) Maxwell of St. Joseph, Louie (Jennifer) Wippler Jr. of Clear Lake
Joy (Patrick Myhre) Seelen of St. Martin, Amy Jo Swanson of Swanville;
brother Joseph (Lois) Stavish Jr. of Little Falls; sister Jeanette (Bill) Langer of St. Cloud.
16 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. And very dear friend Rose.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anna Stavish, and husband Louis Wippler, Sister Bernadine Thesing, grandson Mitchel Mammenga and great-grandson Alex Pugh.
On June 21st, 2014 there will be a Celebration of Life for Virginia at
3112 215th Street Randall, MN. Start time 1:00 pm.
