Virginia Vogt

Virginia "Ginny" Vogt, 71, of Brainerd died at her home on Sunday, February 27, 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 1:00 PM at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Tony Wroblewski officiating. Visitation will be held at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Interment will be at The Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery Columbarium in Little Falls.

Ginny was born on October 25, 1939 in Brainerd to Charles and Marian (Olson) Thiede. She was a graduate from Motley High School. Ginny was united into marriage to Glen Vogt on July 26, 1958 in Motley. Ginny has lived in the Brainerd Lakes Area her entire life. She enjoyed spending time with family, camping, and bingo.

Ginny will be sadly missed by her husband, Glen; children, Anna (John) Bajula, Donna (Larry) Mulholland, John (Renae) Vogt, Jeff (Diane) Vogt, Jill (John) Johnson, Sherry Vogt, and Paula (Kelly) Kohl; brother, Bob Thiede; twenty-four grandchildren; and thirty-four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Jr.; sister, Mildred Thiede; and one great-granddaughter, Breanna.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
