Virginia Peterson

D. Virginia Peterson, 97, of Burnsville, MN, passed away on June 18, 2014. Virginia was born in Swanburg, MN, on September 29, 1916.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar & Grace Peterson; siblings, Raymond (Helen), Elva (Oscar) Olson, Glorine (Harold) Moser, Kenneth, Calvin, Dale (Betty) and infant sister, Marilyn Bernice.

Survived by daughter, Marilyn (Art) Launer; grandchildren, Anthony Launer, Suzanne (Vince) Berra and Christopher (Rebecca) Launer; great grandchildren, Jessica Launer, Katelyn (Corey) Sargent, Jordan Launer, Jacob and McKenzie Berra and Samuel Launer; great-great grandchildren, Madison & Eli Sargent; siblings, Carol Gilbert and Warren Peterson; sisters-in-law, Katherine Peterson and Donna Peterson.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Ebenezer Ridges Care Center for their kindness and wonderful care of our Mother and Grandmother.

The funeral service will be 11 AM on Monday, June 23, at Faith Lutheran Church in Swanburg, MN, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Private interment at a later date.
