Viola Jones

Viola Mae Jones, age 69, of Brainerd died at her home on Friday, September 7, 2001. Funeral services will be Monday, September 10 at 10:30 AM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, with Captain Paul Ferguson officiating. Friends may visit beginning at 9:00 AM. Burial will be in the Baxter City Cemetery. Arrangements are with Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
Viola Mae Jones was born in Brainerd, MN on February 6, 1932, to Loran and Ethel (Becker) Jones. She lived her entire life in the Brainerd area. She worked as a Dietary Aid at the Crosby Hospital. She attended church at the Salvation Army, where she also enjoyed attending Home League. She loved playing Bingo and Solitaire, and keeping up with her 26 nieces and nephews and their children.

Viola Mae Jones is survived by a sister Erma Roxberg of CA, a brother Earl Jones of Brainerd, 26 nieces and nephews, and their children. Preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Mary Nelson, Malcolm Jones, Harry Jones, Emory Jones and infant Loran all of Brainerd.
