Viola Hardy

Viola Hardy, age 93, of Fifty Lakes, passed away peacefully at her home on December 19, 2013. She was born to Roy and Mary Raph on August 13, 1920, in Holland, MN. Viola was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church, Swanburg, and volunteered at the Emily Food Shelf. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and embroidering.

Viola is survived by her daughter, Maxyne (Gaylund) King; grandchildren: Peter (Kathy) King, Jeffrey (Shar) King, Melinda (Brian) Nastrom, Phillip King; seven great grandchildren; brother, Merlyn Raph; sister, Joann (Tommie) Mudd; and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Hardy; and brothers: Roy, Jr., Donnie, Gerald, Arvid and Earl.

Services will be 11 AM on Friday, December 27, at Faith Lutheran Church, Swanburg. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Swanburg Cemetery.
