Vincent Coulter

Vincent W. Coulter, age 62, of Staples, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Brainerd, on Friday, August 31, 2012. A Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 3rd, at 11:00 AM, at the Benny Funeral Home in Staples. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon, from 3-5, at the Brenny Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Evergreen Hill Cemetery.

Vincent was born on December 27, 1949, in St. Paul, MN, to Charles and Marjorie (Bastin) Coulter. He grew up in the Twin Cities and graduated from Murray High School in 1968. He then attended Anoka Technical College and graduated in 1969, from the Auto Mechanic Program. On July 19, 1969, he married Carol Olson, and they had two sons. In 1997, Vince and Carol moved to Staples. Vince loved to deer hunt, fish, camp, snowmobile, and was a member of the Wahoo Valley MDHA.

Vincent is survived by his wife, Coral; sons, Mike (Becky) Coulter and Bob (ChannaRae) Coulter; grandchildren, Jessica MacIntosh, Chris (Jessica) MacIntosh, Beth Coulter, Becca Coulter, and Dylan Coulter; a great granddaughter, Kaylee Martie; a sister, Ruth; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one borther, and two sisters.
