Vincent Clemens

Vincent Clemens, 82, of Baxter, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at St. Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd. Visitation will be at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, on Sunday, November 23 from 2  4 pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the Washburn-McReavy, Glen Haven Garden Chapel, in Crystal, Minnesota. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
Vincent was born June 5, 1926 in Mazeppa, Minnesota son of Wm P. and Clara Clemens. He was united in marriage to Evelyn Temple on December 17, 1977 in Anoka. Together they owned and operated Artistic Drapery until their retirement.

He was a member of Garrision Senior Citizens, Minnesota Senior Federation Council and Council on Aging where he currently served as president. In 2007 he received the Crow Wing County Council on Aging 2007 Outstanding Senior award.

Vincent is survived by his wife Evelyn; his children, Colleen (Ned) Haney of Maple Lake, Mark Clemens of Florida, Jeffrey, Greg and Todd Clemens all of Minneapolis; two step-children, Lawrence Temple of Hopkins, Marylee (Jim Johnson) Temple of Columbia Heights; one granddaughter Erin Johnson. He was preceded in death by son, Frank Clemens; daughter Kathryn Clemens; his parents and one brother.
