Victoria Hoffman

Victoria Hoffman, age 57, Mission Township, died on Friday, December 8, 2000, at her home. Funeral services will be Monday, December 11, 2:00 PM, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Crosslake, with Reverend Mark Anderson officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the funeral, also at the Brenny Funeral Chapel.
Victoria Hoffman was born January 13, 1943 in Moline, IL, to Harold and Violet (Krieger) Seitz. She grew up and attended school in the Moline area. She was married to Michael J. Hoffman on December 2, 1961, in Moline; they just celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary. She and her husband purchased a summer home near Crosslake 8 years ago, and have been wintering in FL or AZ and spending their summers here. Vicky?s family describes her as a ?special lady who never took the easy way out.? They recall her constant concern for others and her loving personality. She enjoyed gardening, particularly her raspberries and flowers, homemaking, baking, crafts, and travel. She and Mike took memorable trips to Maine and Hawaii before she became ill.

Victoria Hoffman is survived by her husband Mike; one son Christopher (Elaine) Hoffman, St. Louis, MO; one daughter Michaelle (Patrick) Zbacnik, Peoria, IL, her parents Harold and Violet Seitz, Moline, IL; a sister Andrea (Larry) Gull, Moline, IL; two brothers Jay Seitz, Denver, CO and Gary Seitz, Springfield, IL; and four grandsons Nicholas, Christopher, Aaron, and John.
