Verna Krall

Verna L. Krall, 94, of Baxter, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Excelsior Place. Services for Verna will be held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Ruthton City Cemetery in Ruthton, MN.

Verna was born July 25, 1916 and raised in Aetna Township, MN, the daughter of Claus and Carrie (Hansen) Pehrs. Verna was united in marriage to Edwin Krall on February 14, 1936. Verna stayed home in Ruthton and raised her family. The focus of Verna's life was her family, whom she cherished. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Ruthton and active in Eastern Star.

She will be missed by her children, Gary (Betty) Krall, of Grand Rapids, Ron (Bev) Krall, of Elk River, and Corky (Bonnie) Krall, of Cohasset; ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Edna Krall, of Meza, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; sisters, Elna and Viola; and brothers, Wesley and Eldon.
