Vera Dickman

Vera M Dickman, 84, Forest Lake, MN, unexpectedly passed away at M Health Fairview Hospital in Wyoming MN on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Visitation will be held from 5pm-7pm on Thursday, May 4^th and again 11am on Friday, May 5^th at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Staples. The funeral service will be 12pm on Friday, May 5^th at Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Staples.

Vera was born on October 8, 1938, to Alfred and Angeline (Riley) Greenwaldt in Staples, MN, where she grew up and graduated from Staples High School. She married Elmer Dickman from Staples, MN. Vera had an outgoing personality, everyone she met was drawn to her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and was truly loved by her family. She enjoyed spending every summer at the family farm, visiting relatives, traveling, cooking for family and friends, doing puzzles, reading, and playing games on her tablet. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Vera is survived by her children, Kevin Dickman, Pam O’Brien, Teresa Dickman; grandchildren, Ryan O’Brien, Allanah O’Brien; siblings; Bob (Lorraine) Greenwaldt, Gerald (Shelba) Greenwaldt, Phil (Mary) Greenwaldt; sisters in law; Erma Greenwaldt, Diane Dickman; beloved nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer; parents; and siblings, Violet, Kenny, Florence, Irene, Alice and Ben.
