Trevor Dukowitz, age 24, of Brainerd passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 11, 2018, in Little Falls. Trevor’s memorial service will be Wednesday, January 17, 11 AM, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, with Reverend Jim Johnson officiating. Friends may visit at Brenny’s on Tuesday, January 16, from 5-7 PM and from 10-11 AM on Wednesday.
Trevor James Dukowitz was born September 11, 1993 in Staples, to Jerome and Gail (Worden) Dukowitz. He moved with his family to the state of Washington, and then to Poplar, Wisconsin. They returned to the Brainerd Lakes Area and Trevor attended school in Pillager until 5th grade, when he transferred to Brainerd schools. He graduated from Brainerd High School in 2012 and attended Central Lakes College to learn welding. Sadly, his mom passed away in 2014, just before his 21st birthday. Trevor worked as a welder at National Conductor and, more recently, at Lee Industries in Little Falls. He loved the outdoors, deer hunting (both rifle and bow), duck hunting, fishing, and building the biggest fires. He was a sports fan and loved to talk smack about teams other than his Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Blackhawks. He enjoyed listening to music and playing darts with his friends and family.
Trevor will always be remembered and deeply missed by his dad, Jerry; his sister, Rebecca (Joshua) Brooks, Burnsville; his brother, Kyle (Rylie Anderson) Dukowitz, Fargo, North Dakota; his grandmother, Alice Eskro, Crystal; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his special friend, RaeLynn Jorgenson, Brainerd. He was preceded in death by his mom, Gail (9/10/2014); his grandma, Marie Dukowitz; and his grandpa, Robert Eskro.
Visitation Tuesday, January 16, 5-7 PM, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter and from 10-11 on Wednesday.
