Tracey Knode

d. May 19, 2009

Tracey was born on May 2, 1957 in San Jose CA where she lived with her parents, Mike and Margie and little brother, Bob until she was 5. Her parents decided that it would be best to raise their children in their home town, Redmond OR, where they could all be closer to their families.
Tracey graduated from high school in 1975. She worked at U.S. Bank after graduating and continued to work there until she moved to Santa Ana CA in 1980 where she met Steve Cupelli. She and Steve married in 1981 moving to his hometown of Cliffside Park NJ. Tracey lived in NJ for 15 years, where she worked for United Jersey Bank, starting out as an operations clerk, working up to an Assistant Vice President. Steve and Tracey were divorced in 1996, but continued to remain close friends

In 1996, Tracey moved to Minnesota where she met and later married her husband Roger, whom she married in 1998. They were married in the yard of their lake cabin surrounded by their friends and family. Tracey worked for SunGard, a software company, as a business analyst from August of 1996 until Feb 2009.

Tracey is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Ed and Ruth Mollman, her maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Marge Satterlee, her father, Mike Mollman, her Uncle Pete Satterlee, and her niece Kaysie Mollman.

Tracey is survived by her husband, Roger Knode, mother, Margie Mollman, brother Bob Mollman, sister in law Dea Mollman, their sons, her nephews, Joshua and Talon Mollman. Her stepchildren Jeffrey, Jason (Beth) and Angela Knode. Her lovely grandchildren Hope Frants, Beckham Knode and Rylee Turnbo and many other family members and friends.

Tracey loved to entertain family and friends. She loved a full house filled with love and laughter and of course music. She loved to read, fish, cook and play in the lake that she and Roger lived on. She adored her pets, Sam and Max.

Her family and friends were so important to her and their love and support during the last few years helped her through some difficult times. She referred to Roger as her Rock and credits him for keeping her smiling and laughing, even during the most difficult of times.

In lieu of flowers, Tracey requests that donations be made to Caring Bridge. This on-line service allowed her to keep everyone updated on her condition, and allowed those that signed in to send her messages of support and love, it certainly helped both she and Roger keep a positive outlook during her illness. This website can be found at www.caringbridge.org. Thank you.

Tracey will be cremated. There will be a celebration of life held for Tracey at Grannys Bar and Grill in Emily, MN, May 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. All are welcome.
