Timothy Simon

Timothy Simon, 64, of Staples, MN passed away at his home in Staples, MN Friday, October 13, 2017. Services for Timothy will 11:30AM, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN., with visitation one hour prior to services.

Timothy Harold Simon was born January 4, 1953 in Washington, D.C. to Harold and Joyce Simon. He was the fourth child after Gloria, Linda, and Thomas (Tom). Karen was born a few years later. As a child, he liked going to his grandparent’s farm. He liked trains and swimming. He’s lived since 2002 near Staples in a Group Home. Wheel of Fortune and Scooby Doo cartoons were a couple of his favorites. When coaxed, he’d play checkers. His favorite outing was to Perkins for pancakes and a Diet Coke, meeting there with his family.

Timothy is survived by his mother; sisters; nieces, and a great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his brother and father.

Timothy’s family appreciates all his staff for their care and support. Simon, as he liked to be called, had many medical conditions and was certainly a unique and special person. Services have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
