Timothy Mears Sr

Timothy Robert Mears. Sr., 73, of Staples, MN died at his home on Sunday, March 4, 2018. No services are being planned at this time.

Tim was born on December 20, 1944 in Highland Park, IL to James and Anne Mears. He lived in Waukegan, IL until 1989. Tim was a teacher and sub teacher in Oregon and Minnesota as well as being a business owner in Oregon. Tim worked for many years as Social Services Program Director. He was a member of Al-Anon for 23 years. He and Paula moved to Staples, MN in 2004. He will always be remembered as a loving husband and father.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Paula; sons, Timothy Mears JR., Dylan Mears, and Dustin Mears; grandchildren; and one brother, Greg Mears of AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Anne; daughter, April; two brothers, Jeff and Jim; and one sister, Beverly. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
