Thomas Roberts

Thomas “Tom” Roberts, 69, of Motley, MN. Passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Centra Care Hospital in St. Cloud, MN.

Memorial service will be held on July 11th at 11:00 am at the Free Methodist Church in Motley, MN.

Tom was born November 8th, 1952, to Bill and Irma Roberts in Minneapolis, MN. Tom grew up in Mound, MN, graduated from Mound High School in 1971. He met Patsy Tepley and they were married September 4th, 1976. They made their home in Mound. They had two children, Thomas Roberts and Ryan Roberts. They move to Motley in 1985. Tom worked at Morey’s, Bremer’s Bar and the City of Motley. He was on the Motley Fire Department for 10 years.

Tom enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had an amazing sarcastic sense of humor that I’m sure all will remember. Tom loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing with his boys. He liked going to Twins and Vikings games with the boys. He enjoyed helping the community through work and the fire department.

Tom is survived by Patsy Tepley Roberts of 45 years; sons, Thomas (Duffy), Ryan (Sarah); sister Sue Roberts; brother Rick; grandchildren Calie, Trip and Lydia; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill Roberts and Irma Steege Roberts.
