Thomas Berg

Thomas Logan Berg, 66,of Baxter entered into Heaven on Thursday, November 25,2010. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He was born on October 29, 1944, to Guy and Gladys Berg of Zumbrota, MN. Tom served 4 years in the Minnesota National Guard. He also retired after 30 years in the telecommunications field. He enjoyed fishing, walking, going on day trips with his family, and working in his yard and garden.

Tom is survived by his wife Laurie (Tretter) Berg and daughter Allie Berg (Mike Hoemberg) of Baxter, Lindsey Erickson (Shawn Larson) of Nisswa, Marnie Berg of Baxter, Melissa (Derek) Snyder of Monterey, CA, and son Michael (Krin) Berg of Houston, MN. His sisters Janet (Don) Ramstad and Nancy (John) Buck both of Zumbrota, MN and brother-in-law Orville Lubahn . He is also survived by his 6 loving grandchildren.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; Guy and Gladys Berg, his brothers Lloyd, Gerald, and James, his sister Betty (Orville) Lubahn, and his daughter Mindy Ann.

A private family service will be held at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter on Monday, November 29 with Pastor Mel Nefstead officiating. Final burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Brainerd
