Therese Kruse

Therese Ann Kruse, 83, born April 9, 1937, beloved spouse of John H. Kruse of 63 years, passed away peacefully at their Emily lake home with her husband and children in attendance on Saturday, July 11.  She is survived by her loving husband, John H. Kruse; sister, Patricia (Don) Carlson; her three children, John Michael (Theresa R.) Kruse, Karen Therese (Joseph) Ouellette, and Kristine Marie (Daniel) Schreder; grandchildren, Katie (Luke) Tungseth, Paul (Brittany) Ouellette, Karie (Aaron) Schwenzfeier,  Thomas (Katelyn) Schreder, Matthew Schreder, James Kruse, and Michael A. Kruse; and great grandchildren, Aubrey, Joey, Brayden, Gage, Harrison, and Tristan.  She is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law.  She was the matriarch of the extended Kruse family. She is soon to be reunited with her parents, Adelaide and Elroy Hammang; brother, Jack Hammang; nephews, Mark Hammang, and Cory Carlson and family; and numerous unborn grandchildren.   A very special friend to the Kruse family that took care of Therese to the end is Bonita Jarvela.  The family extends a special thank you to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center HomeHealth, Palliative & Hospice. She was the co-owner of Modified Tool, Inc. with her husband John for over 40 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Emily’s Catholic Church in Emily, MN, on Friday, July 24, 2020, at 11:00 A.M.  Visitation will be held one hour before Mass and the Rosary will be said at 9:45. Interment will follow Mass at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily, MN.  Memorials preferred to St. Emily’s Vision for the Future Narthex Fund.
