Teresa Young

Teresa Ann (Kula) Young, 60, of Brainerd, MN died Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, MN. Memorial services for Teresa will be 11:00AM, Friday, May 29, 2015 at Oak Street Chapel in Brainerd, with Reverend Todd Wooden officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Teresa was born October 9, 1954 in Nisswa, MN to Arthur and Lois (King) Petersen. Teresa enjoyed reading, puzzles, Sudoku, cooking, baking. She especially liked to make stuffed green peppers and spilt pea soup to share with her friends.

Teresa is survived by her son, Darryl Kula (Hydisia Bird); daughter, Nicolle Kula (Jose Rosario); nine grandchildren, Amanda, Haylee, Jewel, Caroline, Dakotah, Isaiah, Gabe, Joey, Trinity; siblings, Judy (Robert) Gakin of Merrifield, MN, Linda (Daryl) Norlund of Zimmerman, MN, Donna Burrows of Grand Forks, ND, Roy (Kathy) Petersen of Richfield, MN, Rodger Petersen of Gulfport, MS, Alice (Bruce) Pratt of Waverly, GA, Pam (Jeff) Addison of Merrifield, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Lois Petersen and infant twin siblings, Jimmy and Jane. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
