Sylvia Dee

Sylvia Arlene Dee, 86, of Brainerd died at Woodland Oakwood Homes in Brainerd, MN on Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Services for Sylvia will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with visitation one hour prior to services at the chapel. Lunch to follow in the Brenny Funeral Chapel Reception Room. Interment will be at Mound Cemetery in Brooklyn Center, MN.

Sylvia was born on September 1, 1925 in Pine River, MN to Sylvester and Minnie (Skow) Fairley. She lived in Osseo, MN most of her life. Sylvia was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes where she was a very active member. She enjoyed reading and knitting and she loved to travel. Sylvia received the WCCO award for volunteer work.

Sylvia is survived by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence; parents, Sylvester and Minnie; brothers and sister, Robert Fairley, Elmer Fairley, Roger Vernon, and Leona Welsh.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
