Susen Leibold

Susen "Sue" Ann Leibold, 59, of Brainerd, MN passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at her home. Services for Susen will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN at 1:00PM. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 5:00-7:00PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN and one hour prior to services at the chapel. A reception will follow services at the Brenny Funeral Chapel Reception Room. Interment at Riverside Cemetery.

Susen was born on October 27, 1953 in St. Paul, MN. She lived with her parents Roy and Opal Peck in Luck, WI. She graduated from Luck High School. She was a founding member of Crow Wing County Sheriff's Mounted Patrol. Sue liked gardening, fishing, camping, and swimming. She also enjoyed canning, horseback riding, canoeing, and fast cars. Sue loved spending time with her grandbabies.

Susen is survived by her; husband, Steve Merriman; children, Chad Louis of Grantsburg, WI, Charlie (Erin) Leibold of Brainerd, MN, Craig Leibold of Brainerd, MN, and daughter-in-law, Stacie Louis, of Grantsburg, WI; step-children, Ryan Merriman of Minneapolis, MN and Amanda Merriman of Brainerd, MN; brothers, Terry, Jason, and Buzzy; sister, Avis; and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Opal Peck; son, Cory Louis; baby Leibold; grandson, Logan Louis; and brothers, Michael and Keith.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
