Susan Emily Kahler

Susan Emily Kahler, age 70, passed away on July 23, 2022 @ Sandstone Health Care Center, Sandstone, Mn.   

Susan was born on March 3, 1952 in Fairmont, Mn. Susan lived in the  Fairmont, Mn. area until 2007 when she moved to the Brainerd Mn. area to be closer to family.

In her younger years, Susan enjoyed showing her artistic abilities through her paintings. She enjoyed reading, adult coloring books & she loved horses. Susan took great pleasure in writing & receiving letters from family and friends. 

She is survived by her sister Deb (Tom) Sampson of Baxter, MN, her niece Jamie Sampson, her nephew Phillip Sampson, and great nephew Reef Sampson, her uncle Lawrence Warriner, and many cousins. 

Susan is preceded in death by her mother, Lavonne Kahler and several aunts and uncles & her grandparents. 

 A Graveside service for Susan will be held on Sunday August 28, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Center Creek Cemetery in Granada, MN. There will be lunch following the service at the shelter house at The Granada City Park, in Granada, Mn. 

In Lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Susan may be made to Heartland Animal Rescue (HART) – 15494 Dellwood Dr, Baxter MN 56425.
