Susan Fiebiger

Susan A. Fiebiger, 76, of Lake Shore, formerly of Coon Rapids, died Friday, March 30, 2012 at Edgewood Vista Assisted Living in Brainerd, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Nisswa with Father George Zeck officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday as well. Interment will be at Lake Shore Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Susan Annella Fiebiger was born July 13, 1935, in Waseca, MN, the daughter of Reuben and Rose Mary (Eylward) Hamann. After graduating high school, Susan married Donald Arthur Fiebiger on August 13, 1955. The couple made their home in Coon Rapids. Susan was a true entrepreneur. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Anoka and was active with the church women at St. Christopher's in Nisswa. Susan liked to cook and garden. She will be remembered as a loving wife who was proud of her children and grandchildren.

Susan is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald; children, Michael (Tamerah), Kimberly, Craig (Lisa), Tracy (Roy), and Rick (Tracy); grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew, David, Kevin, Gabriel, Lee, Sarah, Amanda, Danielle, Savanna, Bryce, Jessica, Lauren, Taylor, Nicole, Alyssa, Steven, Christine, and Derick; great grandchildren, Aftyn, Ella, Norah; siblings, Dick Hamann, Ray Hamann, Jacqui Richey, Roger Hamann, Rueben Hamann, Marie Labonne, Rosemary Mark, Joy Pforr, and Dennis Hamann. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Lee Sutter, Pauline Born, Loquita Roots, and Michelle Hamann. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Association.
