Sue Dillon

Sue Ann Dillon, age 72, of Spring Park, MN, formerly of Crosslake, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009, at Presbyterian Homes on Lake Minnetonka. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Crosslake with Rev. Charles Smith officiating. Interment will be in Pinewood Cemetery at Crosslake. Friends are welcome to gather beginning at noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Sue Ann Dillon was born on July 26, 1936, in Madison, WI, the daughter of Earl and Harriet (Smart) Starks. She graduated from Wisconsin Rapids High School and went on to attend the Minnesota School of Business. After her schooling she moved to Burnsville, MN, and went to work for AAA of Minnesota. Sue retired in 1991 after serving as an Account Manager for AAA for 20 years. Upon retiring she moved to Crosslake, MN, where she became a member of the Crosslake Legion Auxiliary. Among the things she enjoyed were playing bingo, going to the Casinos, doing crossword puzzles, gardening, boating, and just reflecting by the lake. For 14 years she was able to winter at Lake Havasu, AZ, along with many of her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Harriet; and her longtime partner, Fred Moen. Sue will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Kevin Dillon of Spring Park, MN, and Lisa (Mark) Fettig of Prior Lake, MN; granddaughter, Jessica (Mike Pint) Fettig; and great grandson, Brody Pint.
