Steven O'Bryan

Steven "Skip" O'Bryan, 67, of Fifty Lakes, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, MN. Services for Skip will be 12:30PM, Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation one hour prior to services.

Skip was born December 9, 1948 in Minneapolis, MN to Steve and Jacqueline (Swanson) O'Bryan. He was raised in St. Louis Park. Skip served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Skip was united in marriage to Patricia Garvey in 1974 in St. Louis Park, MN. He worked for MN DOT for 36 years. Skip enjoyed fishing, coaching sports, golfing, and playing Poker. He was on the City Council for Fifty Lakes; and was a member of the St. Louis Park VFW.

Skip is survived by his wife, Patty; daughters, Sheila Cartney and Dawn O'Bryan; grandson, Aidan Cartney; brothers, Vernon, Bruce and Sean. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Jacqueline. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN.
