Steven Deszamp

Steven Deszamp, age 63, of Backus, and formerly NW Minneapolis, died Sunday, November 17, 2019, peacefully surrounded by family and friends. Survived by long-time companion, Bonnie L’Allier and many stepchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pine River, beginning at 10 AM followed by the service at 11 AM with luncheon after the service.

Steve was a long-time employee at North Lakes Marine & Auto in Hackensack with his best friend and boss, Bill Garb. He was also employed by Auto Value in Pequot Lakes. Steve loved camping with his family, computer games, fast cars, racing and especially bass fishing. He will be remembered as a loving and gentle man who loved his family and friends dearly, especially his cat, Trouble.
