Steven Bartle

Steven D. Bartle, age 62, of Motley, passed away at his home on Friday, May 18, of natural causes. A Memorial service is planned for Wednesday May 23, at 11:00 AM, at the Motley Free Methodist Church, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Motley Public Cemetery.

Steve was born on March 28, 1950, in Little Falls, MN, to Floyd and Helen (Kestner) Bartle. Steve graduated from the Motley High School in 1968. He worked as a truck driver for most of his life. Steve was an avid ATV rider and loved to hunt deer and turkey. He was a member of the NRA, NWTF, and the Arbor Day Foundation. His willingness to help people will be sadly missed.

Steve is survived by his mother, Helen of Cushing; brothers, David (Jan) of Motley, Edward "Freddy" of Motley, Jeffrey (Cindy) of Motley, Ken (Shana) of Powell, WY, and Gene "Skip" (Liliya) of Cushing; sister, Terri (Bruce) Ekert of Motley; aunt, Bernett (Charlie) LeBlanc; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd; his grandparents; and sister-in-law, Cheryl.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.
