Steve Leifermann

March 27, 1961 — October 22, 2021

Our loving son, Steve Leifermann, left us on October 22, 2021.

Steven was a proud Marine and loved his country beyond measure. Above all things, Steven loved his family. He was a story teller like his grampa Tex and could easily make us laugh.  As a child, he loved camping and fishing.  He continued his passion for the outdoors throughout his life.  He was a muscle car and NASCAR fan and could fix anything on wheels!  He could also fix any electronic device, possibly have parts left over.....but it would work! When Steven gave a hug, you knew you had been hugged!  If he had only one shirt, and you needed a shirt, he would have taken his off and given it to you.  He had a compassionate heart and a good eye for weather. Steven went to bed for the night and never woke up.

He is survived by his only son Christopher.  Four siblings, Julie, Jason (Jamie), Sharra (Chad), Chad (Monique).  His parents, Howard and Cyndie Leifermann.  His nieces and nephews, Benjamin (Erica) and their son Milo,Kayela (Forrest), Alex and Andrew, Eyan (Ammelia) and Xander, Mitchell (Megan) and Paige (Lloyd) and their children Lloyd and Olivia. Many aunts and uncles and cousins too! The family of his heart Thao and Ka and their children.  His forever fishing buddies, Mark and Jerry. Also many Aunts and Uncles. He was preceded in death by his biological father 1st Lt. Richard A. Koski, who perished in the Vietnam War in 1968.  His grandparents Clarence (Tex) and Ila Akre, Arne Koski and Gertrude Pollary.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Till we meet again
