Stella Robben

Stella Robben, 78 of Staples, passed away at Lakewood Health System on August 5, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am on Monday August 9th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples. There will be a visitation on Sunday August 8th from 3pm-7pm at Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Staples and one hour prior to services on Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Stella was born in Bertha Village to Gorman and Helen (Block) Bratsch. She graduated high school from Browerville. On July 13, 1963 she married Richard Robben. Stella and Rich owned a dairy farm. They also raised beef cattle, hogs and sheep. She was employed by Lakewood Health System, working in dietary for eighteen years. She loved shopping with her best friend Carol, spending time at the DQ watching cars go by but above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Stella is survived by her children; Tammy (Steve) Mumm of Staples, Tim (Joanie) of Motley, Chris (Julie) of Motley, Joe (Lori) of Pillager and Danny (Heather) of Motley, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, brother, Kenneth Bratsch, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, son David, daughter Mary Ann, parents Gorman and Helen, sister Charlotte and brother Melvin.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
